This piece additionally deletes the turbo muffler, which is integrated into the pipe on the Golf R\/S3 and similar platform vehicles. The pipe features bead rolled connection points to help resist hose slippage, and all mounting brackets are tig-welded to the pipe for a strong connection. Finally, the pipe is finished in an attractive satin-black finish. This all results in a more reliable setup and increased performance through a smooth and strong uninterrupted airflow path.
