Drill one extra hole and it fit perfectly on the M550i

F90 M5- These are just ok at best. The rears are a 1 star for sure. Fitment/design on the rear is just plain bad. Front is much better, but still not perfect. For a car as high quality and expensive as the M5, these are not the right ones.

Let me explain.

The rear are supplied with long screws. The mudflaps mount on the bottom part of the rear fender body line and the inner fender liner.
The inner fender liner is sunken in much further than the body line, which means they are mounted half on the body line and half on the fender liner. The long screw you're supplied with is used to take up all of that space and here is where the problem comes in.
These mudflaps are made out of plastic, like any other... the more you tighten the screws, the more it warps the mudflap and inverts it which makes it look really weird.
But, if you only tighten the screw enough without warping the mudflap, it's fairly loose because the only tension on the screw is the flap itself.

Front- the front is decent but my one gripe is the mounting hole is not at the top of the flap and over time the top part of the flap starts to warp inward towards the tire. Small rocks build up behind them thus pushing them inward even further. I kept the fronts on and Uninstalled the rears.

Guards themselves are fine, but the plastic rivets that come with the set are very poor quality and break during install. They supply extras but it doesn’t help since the extras are the same poor quality rivets.
