The Eventuri Toyota A90 Supra / BMW G29 Z4 M40i Black Carbon Intake System is a complete high-flow induction upgrade engineered specifically for the turbocharged B58 engine. Designed to increase airflow capacity while controlling intake air temperatures, the system combines a sealed pre-preg carbon fiber airbox, dual cold-air feeds, an oversized carbon inlet tube, and a bespoke high-flow filter into a coordinated intake package.
Thermal management is particularly important on the B58 platform due to the intake system's proximity to the exhaust side of the engine bay. Elevated temperatures reduce air density and can increase the work required from the turbocharger to achieve target boost. Eventuri addresses this with a fully sealed carbon fiber airbox that isolates the filter from surrounding engine-bay heat while providing substantially greater internal volume than the factory intake assembly.
During development, Eventuri identified an additional source of ambient air near the wheel arch and incorporated it into the airbox as a secondary cold-air feed. This dual-feed configuration increases the volume of outside air available to the filter while retaining the thermal advantages of an enclosed intake system. A dedicated heat shield with gold reflective backing provides an additional barrier against radiant heat from the exhaust side of the engine bay.
Beyond the airbox, Eventuri replaces the restrictive factory intake tube with a smooth, high-volume pre-preg carbon fiber inlet. The tube begins with a substantial 111mm internal diameter before gradually tapering toward the turbo inlet, creating a controlled transition designed to reduce turbulence and restriction as airflow demand increases.
A bespoke high-flow dry cone filter provides a larger filtration surface area than the factory filter while retaining ISO-tested filtration performance. CNC-machined temperature sensor and breather mounts provide precise integration with the factory B58 components, while laser-cut stainless steel brackets, a silicone coupler, and OEM-specification clamps complete the installation.
By addressing airflow capacity and thermal management as a complete system, the Eventuri A90 Supra / G29 Z4 M40i Carbon Intake provides the B58 turbocharger with a less restrictive supply of ambient air while adding a more pronounced induction sound and a substantial pre-preg carbon fiber presence within the engine bay.
