The MMX Performance BMW B58 High-Flow Charge Pipe Kit is a direct replacement upgrade engineered to improve reliability, airflow, and long-term durability for first-generation B58-powered BMW applications. The factory plastic charge pipes are a well-known failure point, particularly on tuned or higher-boost vehicles, where cracking and boost leaks can occur over time.
Important: This charge pipe kit is compatible only with first-generation BMW B58 engines. It does not fit second-generation B58TU (Gen 2) applications. Please verify your engine before ordering.
Manufactured from lightweight aluminum, the MMX charge pipes eliminate the weaknesses associated with the factory plastic design while maintaining consistent performance under boost. The rigid construction resists expansion and deformation, ensuring stable airflow and dependable operation under both stock and increased boost levels.
Each pipe features a CFD-optimized, smooth-bore mandrel-bent design to improve airflow efficiency over the factory system. By reducing restriction throughout the charge path, the kit delivers improved throttle response, more consistent boost delivery, and supports increased power output.
Finished in a durable crinkle black powder coat with laser-etched MMX branding, the charge pipes provide a clean OEM+ appearance within the engine bay. Installation is a direct bolt-on replacement using the factory mounting points and connections, requiring no permanent vehicle modifications.
For additional flexibility, each charge pipe incorporates a 1/8-inch NPT bung for optional methanol or water injection systems, allowing the kit to accommodate future performance upgrades.
