RVNG S55 Air-to-Water Intercooler Upgrade

The factory BMW S55 intercooler was never designed for serious boost. Made from plastic with a restrictive tube-and-fin core, it quickly becomes a weak point once power levels go beyond stock. RVNG set out to fix that.

Unlike standard black powder-coated units, every RVNG intercooler is finished in a high-temperature black ceramic coating — a major performance advantage. Ceramic coating offers superior heat insulation, drastically reducing heat soak while reflecting radiant heat away from the core. This means cooler charge temps, longer sustained pulls, and improved consistency under heavy load — exactly what you need when pushing your S55 to its limits.

Designed, scanned, and modeled using 3D scanning and CAD technology, the RVNG S55 Air-to-Water Intercooler is a direct bolt-in upgrade that eliminates the stock limitations while improving charge-air cooling efficiency under extreme conditions.

Our proprietary cast aluminum end tanks are CFD-optimized and feature internal flow-directing fins for maximum thermal transfer and pressure balance across the core. At the heart of the assembly is a high-density dual-pass bar-and-plate core, delivering consistent, stable intake temps even under high boost and extended pulls.

Every unit is carefully hand-welded, pressure-tested, and thoroughly inspected before leaving our facility.
