Overview
Most lowering springs make a car look lower and feel stiffer, then call it handling. APR Roll-Control Lowering Springs were developed the other way around. We built and tested several iterations on the track and the street to find a ride height and spring rate combination that genuinely improves how the GTI drives, without the crashing, bouncing and bottoming out that ruin a daily driver.
The result drops your GTI 22 mm (0.87 in) up front and 28 mm (1.14 in) out back, with 36% more front spring rate and 50% more rear spring rate than stock. The car sits flatter through corners, turns in sharper and feels more planted at speed, while the ride stays comfortable enough to live with every day.
Every spring is designed in house and made in the USA from high-tensile chrome silicon steel, then finished in APR's signature red powder coat. They bolt in place of the factory springs, work with both DCC and non-DCC dampers, and fit every 2022-2026 GTI, including the 2025+ MK8.5. For the complete package, add APR Lowering Bumpstops (SUS00025).
