Any GEN 2 B58 with an upgraded turbo should consider blocking off the ports from the head to the valve cover.
These ports are a part of the PCV system that actually vents boost through the valve cover to manage the PCV diaphragm.
Once you start making more boost the pressure can damage the PCV diaphragm causing excessive oil consumption, or worse split your valve cover in half.
Don't do that.
Our PCV block off pins block these ports preventing any pressure from entering the valve cover and damaging it.
Install guide tool is included! Our alignment tool bolts to the head and holds the pins perfectly collinear with the ports. This leaves no chance of damaging your head and makes install extremely easy.
Disclaimer
Once the PCV ports in the head are blocked you must install a vent to atmosphere catch can to relieve built up crank case pressure. If you install these pins with the CCV / PCV Hose connected to the intake your car will smoke and consume oil!
