The CANchecked MFD28 Gen2 Multi Function Display brings modern vehicle monitoring and data acquisition capabilities to the BMW E30 3 Series and E30 M3 through a clean, OEM-inspired installation. Designed specifically to integrate into the factory ventilation area, the MFD28 provides real-time access to critical engine, performance, and diagnostic information while maintaining the timeless character of the E30 interior.

Using advanced CAN bus communication, the MFD28 delivers access to a wide range of vehicle parameters including boost pressure, oil temperature, coolant temperature, intake air temperature, fuel pressure, lambda values, ignition timing, gear position, vehicle speed, and much more. The responsive touchscreen interface allows drivers to navigate between multiple display pages, monitor live data, review logged information, and configure custom layouts tailored to their specific vehicle and driving style.

Far more than a traditional gauge display, the MFD28 serves as a complete vehicle monitoring platform. Users can create personalized display pages, configure warning thresholds, log vehicle data to the integrated SD card, measure acceleration performance, and connect additional analog sensors directly to the display. Support for ethanol content monitoring, CAN switching functionality, and external CANchecked accessories provides exceptional flexibility for modified street cars, track vehicles, and engine-swapped E30 builds.
