The Carbonex BMW Magnetic Rear License Plate Mount offers a clean, modern solution for BMW and MINI owners who want a secure license plate installation without compromising aesthetics or bodywork. Available as a complete kit for first-time buyers or as an add-on plate mount for customers who already have Carbonex trunk-mounted magnets installed.

Engineered to work seamlessly with a wide range of mounting preferences, this system is compatible with framed or frameless license plate setups and supports both 2-bolt and 4-bolt configurations using OEM mounting points for a direct, no-drill installation.

At the core of the system is a prepreg carbon fiber backing plate, delivering significantly greater strength and rigidity compared to the factory plastic unit. The aircraft-grade aluminum magnet housings contain highest-grade Neodymium magnets with over 20 lbs of pull force, ensuring the plate stays firmly in place under all conditions. Optional license plate bolts are available in stainless steel, titanium raw, and titanium black finishes.

Fitment

Fits most BMW and MINI E, F, and G chassis vehicles using OEM nut inserts and screws. The nut insert must be located on metal body panels (trunk or tailgate) and not the plastic bumper.
