Kies Porsche 992 Carrera & Turbo Valve Controller

Take direct control of the factory electronic exhaust valves on compatible Porsche 911 (992) Carrera and Turbo models. The Kies controller installs using OEM-style connectors and lets you command the valves fully open with the included wireless remote, then return to factory valve behavior at any time.

Standard KMS-992-VC Fitment

992.1: Carrera, Carrera S, Carrera 4, Carrera 4S, GTS/GTS 4/Targa GTS, Turbo and Turbo S applications using the standard 992 actuator system.

992.2: Carrera-family and applicable Turbo models using the standard 992 actuator system.

Standard KMS-992-VC — Does Not Fit

  • 992.2 GTS / GTS 4 / Targa 4 GTS T-Hybrid
  • 992 GT3
  • 992 GT3 Touring
  • 992 GT3 RS
  • Any vehicle using the GT/SBS-style actuator system

Supported 992.2 GTS T-Hybrid and GT applications require KMS-992GT3-VC, rather than the standard KMS-992-VC. The “992.2 GTS/Turbo S” selection on this page supplies KMS-992GT3-VC; use the dedicated GT/SBS listing for GT models and its full application details.

Not much change on the 2025 911 Carrera. Kind of a waste for this model, but it might be better suited for higher-trim variants. I would not recommend this for the base Carrera.

If you have a 992 911 this valve controller is a must! Completely transformed the stock sports exhaust. I don’t see any reason why I need an aftermarket exhaust now. It’s plenty loud with this controller!

Easy install, used one articulated pick tool and had it operating in about 20 minutes. You still have to use sport mode to get the “cracks and bangs” but the regular drive mode is SIGNIFICANTLY louder and much more substantial over the stock SE setting.

This is the "exhaust system" everyone doesn't know they need. Unless you are going Stage 2 and need a high flow cat, this is all you need. It's loud when you want it to be and quiet too! Cold start decibels are 10-15 higher than stock, crackles are more pronounced in Sport, and the best part is you can be 100% stock with the click of a button. I highly recommend this one!
