The M-Engineering ECU Tuning Suite for the 2025+ Porsche 992.2 GT3 and GT3 Touring is the most advanced calibration available for Porsche’s naturally-aspirated 4.0 L flat-six engine.
Built from extensive R&D and motorsport testing, this tune refines throttle response, adjusts fueling and ignition, removes top-speed limiters, and optimizes drivability — while retaining full OEM safety logic and introducing new proprietary M-Engineering protection code.
Note: 2025+ models use newer locked H80 MG1 ECUs, requiring additional unlock time and cost (≈ 2 weeks turnaround).
Live Map Switching (Standard): Switch between power levels instantly via the cruise-control stalk.
Enhanced Throttle Response: Sharper pedal mapping for immediate engagement.
Optimized Fuel & Ignition: Peak power and torque across the entire rev range.
Factory Safety Retained: All OEM protection logic stays active.
M-Engineering Detonation Defense: Custom-coded safety that automatically reduces power if excessive knock is detected — reacting within 20 ms.
Stage 1 & Stage 2 Options: Tailored calibrations for stock or modified setups.

| Slot | Fuel / Octane | Description |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | ACN 91 (AZ/CA/NV 91) | Low-octane fuel calibration for hot climates |
| 2 | 91 Octane / 95 RON | Standard performance map |
| 3 | 93 Octane / 98 RON | High-performance street map |
| 4 | 100 Octane / 103 RON | Track / Race mode |
| 5 | Engine Safety (Detonation Defense) | Automatic failsafe mode for knock events |
Safety comes first at M-Engineering.
When knock events exceed safe thresholds, the ECU automatically switches to Slot 5 within 20 milliseconds.
This temporary mode reduces power and engine load for 10 seconds, then restores full output once conditions normalize.
This technology is exclusive to M-Engineering and proven through competitive racing, drag passes, and world-record runs at Pikes Peak.
