M-Engineering’s custom code introduces unique engine safeties beyond factory limits. When knock or clutch slip is detected, the ECU automatically switches to Map Slot 5 within 20 ms, reducing engine load for 10 seconds to prevent damage. After conditions stabilize, full power is restored automatically.
Detonation Defense: Knock response mode protects under poor fuel conditions.
Clutch Slip Detection (Manual): Prevents over-rev or torque surge on slip events.
This proactive system keeps M-Engineering calibrations both powerful and reliable, as proven in competitive motorsport and track testing.
