The MMX Performance BMW B58 Charge Pipe Kit replaces the factory charge pipes with mandrel-bent aluminum. The factory pipes are plastic and can crack or split under increased boost pressure.
Both pipes are mandrel bent, which keeps the internal bore smooth and the diameter consistent through each bend. Aluminum is not subject to the failure that affects the plastic originals, and the pipes remain reliable at significantly increased outputs.
The kit is supplied complete, with seals for each connection. The pipes install at the factory mounting points, no modification to the vehicle is required, and the original pipework can be refitted at any time.
Each pipe includes a 1/8-inch NPT bung, so a methanol or water injection system can be added later without further modification.
The finish is a crinkle black powder coat with laser-etched MMX logo detailing. The MMX Performance B58 Cold Air Intake Kit is a complementary upgrade for the same applications.
