The MMX Performance BMW E-Chassis N54 Performance Intercooler is a substantial, no-compromise upgrade for the N54-powered 135i, 1M, and 335i. The factory intercooler is undersized for any meaningful tune, and even on stock boost, it heat-soaks rapidly under sustained load, leading to falling intake temperatures, falling power, and the familiar dyno graph rolling off after the first run.
