MMX Performance Front Control Arm Spherical Bearings F2X F3X

The MMX Front Control Arm Spherical Bearings replace the soft OEM rubber bushings on F2X and F3X chassis BMWs with a true motorsport-grade housing and spherical bearing assembly. Designed and tested on MMX's own development cars, this upgrade locks down front-end geometry under hard braking, turn-in, and trail-braking loads.

Each bearing housing is CNC-machined from anodised 7075 aluminium, an aerospace-grade alloy chosen for its strength-to-weight ratio and corrosion resistance. Inside the housing, a high-strength spherical (uniball) bearing rotates on a stainless steel inner spacer, eliminating the rotational and angular deflection that OEM rubber bushings exhibit as they age and heat-soak. A 3D-printed press tool is supplied in the kit so the bearing is supported and protected through the pressing operation.

The real-world result is sharper turn-in, more honest steering feedback through the wheel, and a chassis that responds to driver inputs without the lag that comes with worn or deflecting rubber. By keeping front toe stable under load, tyre temperatures stay more even and tyre wear is reduced under aggressive driving, particularly on track days where OEM bushings deflect repeatedly through every corner.

For street-driven F2X/F3X cars that see occasional track use, this is one of the highest-impact suspension upgrades available without re-engineering the front control arm itself. Expect a measurable increase in NVH compared to OEM rubber, that's the trade-off for true alignment stability.
