MMX Performance Front Control Arm Spherical Bearings G8X M2 M3 M4

The MMX Front Control Arm Spherical Bearings for the G8X platform replace the OEM rubber control arm bushings on the latest M2, M3, and M4 with a CNC-machined housing and motorsport-grade spherical bearing assembly. Designed for owners who want their G8X chassis to respond the way the engineering intended, without the lag and deflection that builds into rubber bushings under repeated load.

Construction mirrors the rest of the MMX MMR45 bearing family. Each housing is machined from anodised 7075 aluminium and paired with stainless steel spacers. Inside, a high-strength spherical (uniball) bearing rotates on the spacer, eliminating the rotational and angular play that softens turn-in feel. A 3D-printed press tool is supplied so the bearing can be pressed into the OEM control arm without damaging the assembly.

The G8X chassis already turns in sharply on OEM rubber. With the spherical bearings installed, that response sharpens further, the front end feels more directly connected to the steering wheel, front toe stays put under trail-braking, and tyre wear evens out under hard cornering loads. On track, the difference is most evident in mid-corner stability and in how predictably the car loads up the front contact patches.
