MMX Performance G8X High-Capacity Baffled Differential Sump M2 M3 M4

The MMX G8X High-Capacity Baffled Differential Sump is engineered to keep your rear differential operating at peak performance under sustained track and aggressive road use. CNC-machined from 6061-T6 billet aluminium and designed as a direct OE-fit replacement for the OEM rear differential pan, this sump adds capacity, integrates active baffling and cooling, and gives you a port to plumb in an external cooler, the three things the OEM pan does not provide for serious track-day use.

Capacity is increased by up to 2 litres (2.10 quarts) above OEM, providing a generous oil reserve that keeps the gears and pinion fully lubricated through extended high-G manoeuvres. The integrated internal baffled windage tray maintains constant lubrication regardless of vehicle attitude, while simultaneously reducing component drag, the result is less drivetrain power loss and better protection of the bearings and gear-set under load. Internal and external cooling fins maximise heat dissipation surface area, helping the diff oil shed heat fast enough to keep operating temperatures consistent through repeated lap-after-lap use.

For owners running their G8X on a circuit, this sump prevents the "Rear Axle Differential Lock: Driving Stability Limited" warning that interrupts a session when OEM diff temperatures climb. An additional -8AN port (with an M22 to -8AN adaptor included) lets you plumb the sump directly into an external diff cooler when you need to extend the cooling capability further still, and the sump is designed to integrate cleanly with the MMX Dual Differential Mount (MMR55-1606), so future drivetrain stiffening upgrades require no additional hardware.
