Built For The Driver, Not The Passenger
Most rear seat delete kits are flat panels with a logo stamped on. SeatX took a different approach. This two-piece interior conversion turns the rear of your G-Chassis BMW into a statement — designed and hand-built by SeatX, finished in the same Alcantara BMW uses on its M Performance interior trim, sourced directly from Milan, Italy. We're proud to offer it as a Kies Motorsports exclusive.
The top section takes its design language from the G8x M3/M4 hood — the same aggressive linework you see when you open the bonnet, now translated into the cabin. For the lower panel, SeatX referenced the Kies Motorsports Strut Brace Kit during the design process — tying the rear interior visually to the chassis bracing under your front strut towers. Real carbon fiber sits behind every cut-out, catching light when you open the hatch. Nothing on this part is by accident.

The Design
SeatX approached this build with two reference points in mind — one from the front of the car, one from under the hood. The result is a two-piece panel that visually ties the rear of the cabin to the rest of the machine.
Top Section
Inspired by the G8x Hood
Twin sweeping cutouts mirror the aggressive vent lines on the G80 M3 and G82 M4 hood — the same shapes that define the front of the car, now defining the cabin behind you. SeatX cut and wrapped the Alcantara so the carbon fiber backing is only visible through the openings — the same way the engine bay is only visible when the hood is open.
Bottom Section
Referenced from the Kies Strut Brace Kit
During design, SeatX used the Kies Motorsports Strut Brace Kit as the reference for the lower panel's angular X-pattern. It's a deliberate visual tie between the chassis bracing in the engine bay and the structural-looking aesthetic in the cabin — form following function, both ends of the car.

1.0 Confirm Your Chassis
At checkout, specify whether your vehicle is a 2 Series, 3 Series, or 4 Series. SeatX builds the Seat Delete specifically for your platform — there is no universal fit. If you're not sure which chassis code applies to your car, contact us at info@kiesmotorsports.com before placing the order.
2.0 SeatX Begins Production After Your Order
Each Seat Delete is custom built. Production does not begin until your order is placed and passed to SeatX. They do not pull from stock — they don't keep stock — every unit is hand-finished specifically for the customer it ships to.
3.0 Allow Up to 2 Weeks
Genuine OEM Alcantara is sourced from Milan, the substrate is laid up by SeatX in-house, the Alcantara is wrapped by hand, and the badge and carbon inserts are fitted individually. Quality takes time. Please plan accordingly.
4.0 Bolt-In Installation
The Seat Delete uses your factory rear seat mounting points. No structural modifications are required. Keep your factory rear seats if you may want to reinstall them for resale or daily-driver purposes — the install is fully reversible.
5.0 Cancellation Policy
Because each unit is custom built for your specific chassis, all sales are final once SeatX begins production. If you need to cancel, contact us immediately at info@kiesmotorsports.com — before production starts. Once Alcantara is cut and wrapped, the order is final.

Is the carbon fiber real?
Yes. The inserts visible through every cut-out in the Alcantara surface are real carbon fiber weave — not vinyl, not printed material, not hydrodipped finish. You can see the weave catch light when the hatch or trunk is open.
Why does it take up to 2 weeks?
Every Seat Delete is custom built by SeatX after your order is placed. Genuine OEM Alcantara is sourced from Milan, the substrate is laid up in-house, the Alcantara is hand-wrapped, carbon fiber inserts are fitted, and the Kies badge is installed individually. This is not a stocked, mass-produced item — it's a hand-built interior piece. Production capacity is limited and SeatX will not rush a build at the expense of quality.
Is this only available through Kies?
Yes. SeatX teamed up with Kies Motorsports to offer this as a Kies exclusive — you will not find this exact design from any other vendor. SeatX makes it, we offer it, and we both stand behind it.
Is installation reversible?
Yes. The Seat Delete bolts to existing factory rear seat mounting points. No drilling, no permanent modifications. Keep your factory rear seats in storage and you can reinstall them at any time — useful if you plan to sell the car or revert to a stock configuration.
Does this affect my factory warranty?
The Seat Delete is a bolt-in interior accessory that does not modify any structural, powertrain, or electronic components. Installation does not affect powertrain or chassis warranties. As always, consult your dealer for warranty-specific questions about interior modifications.
