Custom ROM vs. Standard Unlock

Selecting custom ROM will allow you to use features, which include Map switching, flex fuel, etc, as long as it’s compatible with your car. Once custom ROM has been selected, should you chose to change to a different tuning suite 

To use Flexfuel, you WILL need a flex fuel sensor like these: BM3 CAN Flex Fuel or Dorch Engineering CAN Flex Fuel

Standard unlock/ no custom ROM

Selecting Standard unlock/no custom ROM allows you to run OTS maps ONLY. This option should (We can not guarantee this feature. Please contact FEMTO regarding your application) allow you to flash back to stage 0 and then flash to a different software (ie MHD to BM3 for OTS tunes only) stage 0 and then flash again to the map of your choice on the new suite.
