Description

After installation, a BimmerTech technician will optimize your iDrive for the larger display in a remote coding session, included in the price of the retrofit.

Installation

The iDrive screen replacement process takes up to 1 hour. You will need to disassemble the top trim under the screen and remove the vents. After trim removal, you will have to unscrew the factory iDrive screen. Finally, install the Panoramic Screen, attaching the associated wiring.

The kit includes all parts necessary for installation:

• Coding interface

NOTE: After the physical installation of your navigation screen replacement, you will need to have your iDrive coded in a remote coding session with a BimmerTech technician. Coding is included in the price of the retrofit.
