Place Your Order & Schedule
Select your engine platform, tuning software, and service type (mail-in or same-day). For same-day service, prepayment is required to secure your spot on the schedule.

Arrive or Ship Your DME
Local customers bring their vehicle to our Hammonton, NJ facility. Mail-in customers ship their factory-sealed DME to us with the required labeling. We cover insured overnight return shipping for the lower 48 states.

Professional DME Removal & Unlock
Our trained technicians remove the DME (for in-person customers), perform the 100% software-based unlock, no hardware opening, no soldering, and verify the unlock is complete.

Tune Flash, Flex Fuel & Education
With qualifying purchases, we flash your OTS or transmission tune and install your flex fuel kit. Then we walk you through your tuning platform so you know exactly how to use it.

Important: We only accept factory-sealed, unopened DMEs. Units that have been physically opened or damaged will be returned unprocessed at your expense. Always insure your shipment; DME replacement cost is approximately $5,000+.
Packaging Requirements
- Factory-sealed only — no opened units accepted
- Use a sturdy box with ample cushioning around all connectors
- Wrap in bubble wrap and add foam padding to prevent movement
- Disable OTA software updates in iDrive before removing the DME

What is a DME unlock and why do I need it?
A DME unlock removes the software security restrictions on your BMW’s engine control unit (ECU/DME), allowing you to safely install custom performance maps for increased horsepower and torque. Modern BMWs produced after June 2020 have enhanced security protocols, making a professional unlock essential for any safe and reversible tuning modification.
How long does the DME unlock take?
Our average processing turnaround is 1–2 business days from the time we receive your DME at our New Jersey facility. Return shipping is via insured 1-business-day service for the lower 48 states. Same-day service is available for local customers by appointment — no additional cost.
Is the DME physically opened during the unlock?
No. Our process is 100% software-based. We do not open, solder, or physically modify the DME in any way. This preserves your DME’s factory integrity and keeps your warranty intact.
Which tuning platforms are compatible?
Our unlock is fully compatible with Bootmod3 (including CustomRom), MHD (including MHD+), and MG Flasher. We also offer an exclusive Bootmod3 bundle that pairs the unlock with a standard Bootmod3 license for immediate tuning convenience.
How do I prevent my DME from re-locking after the unlock?
Disable over-the-air (OTA) software updates in your BMW’s iDrive settings before removing the DME and again after reinstallation. This ensures the unlock remains permanent unless you manually initiate a software update.
What if my DME is already opened or damaged?
We require factory-sealed DMEs only. Opened or damaged units will be returned unprocessed at your shipping expense. Always insure your shipment. DME replacement cost is approximately $5,000+.
Is this service available for Toyota Supra or Mini Cooper?
Yes! Our service is compatible with 2020+ Toyota GR Supra (A90/A91, both 2.0 and 3.0) and select 2020+ Mini Cooper models including the Clubman, 3-Door Hatch, 5-Door Hatch, and Countryman.
